It took a while, but we finally got our iPad minis (and cases)! My students have enjoyed using them during math, and other times of the day, too. Here are some pictures of them using the iPads (we now have 7) for a recent math lesson that I taught using Nearpod.
If you don’t know about Nearpod, you need to check them out. They have a wonderful library of interactive lessons for most devices. While some of the lessons do cost money, there are some free ones, as well! In these pics, my students were doing a live lesson on pictographs. They are working on getting use to using the iPads and are working towards independence so that I can pull guided math groups. And I’m still trying to figure out exactly how to do this flipped learning thing, too!
Stayed tuned for more exciting news from our class as we try to flip math!
